In Between

Right. It’s been weeks since I last typed something here. Lots of things have happened in between. Things that make me laugh, extraordinarily happy, even stuck in ecstasy.. Also stuffs that get me nuts (not peanut or coconut.. :D), drop down, half dead, and cry my eyes out.. Everything.

 

Well now it’s closing in. The day when I will move to the new town, this lovely Yogyakarta to get back to school, to back to study. This means that I’m certainly quitting my fun little teaching job which I (still) have currently. In some way, I feel kinda hard to leave, but that’s what I have to do. For a better future, and of course, happy parents and family.. ^^

 

As I get nervous, several new people have come and gone. There are two professors from the US. One from Boston and the other one is from Charlotte. There’s also a Turkish earthquake engineer, and there was a pharmaceutical researcher. These people gather into one, mix up everything and more or less have affected a lot. Those professors definitely help with calming down my nervousness—also some quick lectures and lecture videos. That Turk helps with the religious side in a very interesting way, and that researcher helped me learning how to get real, to keep my feet on the ground, and to understand why we don’t always get what we want or need.

 

I might now experiencing turbulent moments, but I’m still happy with that. A little lonely, but maybe just in my imagination. I have more that anyone could ever wish. Marvelous best friends, weird brother, caring family.. Everything.

 

And I don’t think I’ve thanked enough to God.. :P
